Bahubali

Bahubali - a magnum opus from SS Rajamouli. Bahubali is the much revered Jain monk, as far as I knew from the yesteryear's Amar Chitra Kathas, until I watched this movie. What a mammoth of an effort!! Given the pathetic state of affairs that some Tamil audience can even not follow pure Tamil, subtitles might have helped. What also displeased me was some characters not pronouncing Tamil words properly (zha, Lla). Keeping all such stuff aside, the movie is clearly a feast to our eyes. The picturesque waterfalls, snow-capped peaks, avalanches, heavenly gardens to romance, war-fields....my,my!!!! Kept just wowowowowing throughout. The fine blend of technology makes us drop our jaws. Tamannah has finally acted! You go girl! Ramya, Nassar, Sathyaraj - all cast to perfection. Anushka is yet to start the score and hopefully she has a larger role in the sequel. Prabhas is a macho. Probably, he could have tried acting also. Overall...worth the time, money and effort (to sit up to watch).
